After giving NTSU a visual refresh in the first half of 2018, the same approach needed to be taken to the website. The proposal, however, didn’t go ahead due to technical issues within the platform.
The Challenge
UnionCloud is the platform choice for the majority of Student Unions. However, over the years it has become restrictive in design functions as UI design advances.
Here we aimed to custom create a theme for the UnionCloud platform that would allow us to ‘bust’ out of the templates. Not only fitting the revamped branding, but also providing a better visual experience for current and prospective students.

The website is comprehensive in page structure, with each section essentially running as its own subdomain. During the redesign there was a focus on colour changes and hero imagery to make it visually obvious to users that you were on a specific section of the website.
